There will be a final tech inspection day scheduled for 4/13 in the reading area.( details will be forthcoming directly)
This will be the final opportunity to have a full inspection done before the 4/20 opener at new Egypt. *unless other arrangements have been made with Shawn Burke.
Safety inspections only (If arranged in advance) will occur at New Egypt.
Any other time and date for a full inspection (which includes engine) would have to be scheduled between yourself and Shawn Burke. Keep in mind as per the rules Shawn and another ARDC official must be present at the inspection. This caveat in the rules will make it more difficult to arrange for everyone to coordinate a meeting other than the scheduled 4/13 date
The BOG is trying to coordinate having safety inspection before new Egypt on race day but that would require those involved to arrive a minimum of 1 hour before the race. We will not know until the week of the race who if anyone will be available for an early arrival.
We all work full time and the BOG have been very active in providing sufficient opportunity to have inspections done before race day. We also understand that situations arise that are unavoidable and Shawn will do his best to accommodate those situations but we simply cannot guarantee that there will be ample time to do inspections on opening day at New Egypt. New Egypt will not wait for us to get our house in order nor would we expect them to. It is up to all of us as members of this organization to work unselfishly toward a common goal. This is just a small part of that goal

Two dates have been set-up for ARDC midget inspections. REMEMBER – ALL cars must be inspected prior to competing in any even and is strongly suggested the you DO NOT WAIT until opening day.
